Spots and freckles:
The spots on the skin are changes in the color of a certain area of the skin. While there may be white or stains paler than the surrounding skin, or even pink or reddish stains the most commonly consulted are brown. This color is usually due to excess (melanin) the usual skin pigment due to an increase in the number of cells that produce or, more frequently, to an increase in the amount of pigment in the area.
Sun exposure affects any kind of spots on the skin, either darkening temporarily (freckles, moles) or permanently also known as (melasma), or favoring its appearance on a skin previously unblemished known as (lentigines or age spots). Therefore, any measure taken to combat them should be invariably associated with sun protection measures, and before any procedure must be consulted by our specialists to ensure the most appropriate treatment and provide successful results.
